About the project

Telia Smart Family is an app aiming to make family life smoother for the whole family! Send messages & photos to the rest of the family, make smart reminders so you (and the rest of the family) never forget the important stuff or connect smart devices to your home. For example: Turn the lights on at home before the kids come home from school, while still at the office, to make coming home alone feel safer. Or get notified when the kids comes home from school or from a bicycle ride with friends. Then you don’t have to call to see where they are and they can continue to hang out with their friends undisturbed. Smart, right?

The cross-functional team worked with agile processes to develop new features, prioritized by a product owner. Designers and developers worked closely together through out the entire process from idea to launch. When I joined the team the design was in Sketch and handed over to the developers in Zeplin. To make the design process smoother for both designers and developers I moved everything to Figma, set up a design library and made the whole process much more efficiant. In addition to the work with designing & updating app features, I was part of establishing a growth team as well as working on related IoT projects.
